Tolar Cantilever Umbrella

Great coverage area and nice looking cantilever umbrella. Would be great to change base design, making it not inviting kids and others not to step on it perhaps making it sphere like so someone can’t step on it. It is hard plastic but not industrial grade commercial grade and has a flat shape which makes it so easy to step on it. Also, the two plastic lids are not aligning well with the threads, need to test and fail multiple times. Not sure how the locking and unlocking multiple times will hold with the screw’s longevity time will tell. Other than these great looking, big coverage area umbrella not that hard to set it up, base is heavy when moving it to another place but not impossible to move it. Filled it with water, didn’t add gravel planning to empty the base and store it with umbrella inside the shed for winter. Don’t want the base go thru the harsh Northeast winter and breakleak due to frozen water. Also not sure if the fabric is replaceable if it makes it few more years another time will tell question.

Quality Umbrella and stand

This is very sturdy and quite large - just what we needed on our western facing deck to make the table more useful during the sunny parts of the day. so far we are not using the extra sand bags so that we can more easily move it to where we need it. love that it is on wheels!

Nice umbrella. Provides quite a lot of shade. It is quite easy to open and adjust. I’m short, so I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to reach the adjustment controls easily, but I can with no problems. The assembly went ok. My husband and I didn’t end up mad at each other, but the instructions were not very explicit. It took us the better part of an hour because we ended up having to take it apart several times because we had gotten it wrong. If interpreting picture directions is not your strong point, you may want to have someone assemble it for you. But it looks great out on the patio and we love it. thank you modern productions for awesome service as always!
